Spin attack one of the small green plants nearby, towards the piranha plant, to hit it in the face. Use the new vine toreach yet another bean shaped area. Climb to the top of the structureand spin to smash the crystal.
Use the Launch Star to get to the firstboss. This one is quite simple fortunately, simply spin attack the tipof its tail to free it of its egg shell, then repeat the process twomore times to defeat it. Running in circles around it to reach its tailwill allow you to escape its attacks (don't run straight or you'llnever get it; make short cuts). Really not very difficult. Pick up thePower Star after the fight. Now follow the instructions back at the Observatory and shoot Star Bitsat the Luma with B. Re-select the galaxy and choose the second level.A Snack of CosmicProportionsYou'll need 100 Star Bits to complete this level, so might as wellstart now.
Walk in the flower patches to get some, and spin around thegrass for more. You can collect tons of them if you head down to theother side of the planet piece. Aim at the trees with the Wiimote tocollect them and look in the grass here too. When you're done pick up afair number, return to the top part and head down the bridge at theright. Follow it to the end and talk to the luma. Point at the bluestars to grab them and reach the Launch Star.
In the next area, you canget more Star Bits by spinning next to the plants and destroying thespikey flowers. Goombas also drop Star Bits when you defeat them. Smashthe crystal holding the Launch Star when you're done to reach a roundplanet.
Smash the crystals around it to get more Star Bits and free theLaunch Star. Use it to reach a familiar looking egg. Talk to the lumahere and feed him the 100 Star Bits you've been picking up by shootingthem at him (B Button).
He'll then transform into a Launch Star whichyou can use to reach a new planet. Go around it and start climbing.Spin at the green plants to hit the spikey flowers and clear the path.Jump between the two walls with the Extra Life to reach the top where aLaunch Star awaits.
This one will launch you to a capsule. Look aroundit for a crystal that hides a hole. Jump down the hole to find yourselfinside. All you need to know is that the red walls will lift you up andthe blue ones down. With that in mind, work your way to the top (watchout for the moving blocks). The Launch Star will send you to the lastarea. Collect the five Star Chips around the star structure (don'tworry about falling, you can walk around it), then use the Pull Starsby pointing the Wiimote at them.
What you need to do to get the PowerStar in the middle is to moving from a star to the other, diagonally.Grab the star in the opposite direction that will get you towards thePower Star, collecting it along the way.You now have enough Power Stars to access a new galaxy, or go for thethird level of this one.King Kaliente's Battle FleetTo reach the Launch Star atop the house (your destination), head downto the bottom part of the planet and down the orange pipe. Walk on thewalls and collect the? Picking up all the musical notes willfetch you an Extra Life. The pipe on the ceiling will land you on therooftop where you can use the Launch Star to reach an oasis planet.Free the purple Toad from the crystal first, to get a hint on what todo next. Spinning next to the coconut (towards the spiky plants) willdestroy them.
The biggest one will reveal a Sling Star to get toanother part of the oasis. This time, repeat the same process, butshooting the coconut into the spikey cactus enemy. Jump on its head tofinish it off and use the Launch Star to land on a small meteor. Godown the pipe on the other side to get inside and collect the? Coin.Pick up the rainbow star to turn into Rainbow Mario and crush all theseenemies! Back on the meteor, use the Launch Star to reach a bigger one.Walk around a bit to collect coins, then head to the opposite side (thetop), jumping over the electric field.
Climb to the top of thestructure in the center, avoiding the bullets and many enemies, andsmash the crystal to use the Launch Star. Once on the ship, free thegreen Toad to get a hint if you need. To defeat the enemies shooting atyou from the other side, wait for them to shoot a green ball and spinright before it hits you to send it back to them (avoid the fire ballsthough). The bridge will drop once you destroy both. Cross it and smashthe wooden crate on the edge of the ship to find a Life Mushroom.
Climbup to the right and use the Launch Star to reach the last area, whereKing Kaliente is awaiting. Walk to the top and prepare for the bossbattle. This is another easy one. When Kaliente shoots fire balls, avoid them.
When he shoots the green one, spin to send it back at him, then he will send it back. Send it back once more to hit him. Repeattwo more times, sending the green ball back at him every time.
He'llshoot faster, and you'll need to watch out for the ice enemies, butotherwise it's a piece of cake. Collect the Power Star after the fight. You can now select the Honeyhive Galaxy.Luigi on the Roof(Note: Don'tworry about this until later in thegame). After getting Luigi's letter, re-enter the first level and head downthe orange pipe on the other side of the planetoid you start on. Walkacross the walls to reach the pipe on the ceiling and go through it.You'll find yourself on the house's rooftop, where Luigi is. Talk tohim to receive the Power Star.Honeyhive GalaxyBee Mario Takes FlightStart by heading up the hill on the right and collect the? Coin in thefountain.
Go pick up the Bee Mushroom that just appeared below totransform into Bee Mario. Hold A to fly up the cliffs, but make surenot to touch water. Jump down the tree stump at the end to slide down aslope leading to a higher wall. Jump, then hold A to fly above it. Usethe Launch Star at the end of the path to reach a pond. Get to one ofthe giant flower's stem and spin to get atop the flower.
Climb up tothe tallest flower and use the Launch Star by flying up to it first, then spinning as usual. You'll now reach up to the hive. Work you wayto the very top by climbing on the walls covered in honey and defeatthe piranha plant to make a vine appear. Now see the bee queen?
Well, fly to her using the flowers and climb onto her! You can walk aroundher soft gentle body (I just had to say that) to collect the five StarChips.
Once that's done, fly to the Launch Star behind her to launchyourself atop the tallest tree of the planet. Talk to the Toad here toreceive the Power Star.Trouble on the TowerHead over to the right and do a ground pound (A+Z) on the stone next tothe bee to reveal a vine. Doing so on other stones will get you StarBits. Use the vine to reach a higher part of the level. Ground poundthe stone to the right to reveal a spring, leading to a Launch Star.Perform a ground pound on the spring to be launched into the Star andland on another part. Climb up to the red switch and ground pound it tomake a bridge appear. Cross and ground pound the wooden switch to makepart of the wall fall down.
Now climb up and use wall jumping to get tothe top. Start by jumping against the left wall, then press A as youtouch the wall to bounce back on the opposite wall, and thus reach thetop. Repeat the same with the wooden walls at the end of the stream toreach another Launch Star. You'll be sent to a hat shaped area withPiranha Plants. Walk to the bottom part of the area and jump down toland back on the platform right beneath it.
Walk down to the bottomhere too and get into the Launch Star. Coin on the nextplanet piece to collect a rainbow star and get invisibility. Strikedown all the Piranha Plants around, then drop down in the tree strumpin the middle to fall down to a lower part of the level. Work your wayto the left and get the Life Mushroom below. Climb back up using thespring on the right and jump between the two walls to go up. Go leftthen to ground pound the red switch and activate the mill.
Get atop thetower using the platforms to meet up with the infamous Mandibug. Todefeat it (or them), jump on top of it and ground pound the smallbeetle on the big one's back. It will then become red and start movingfaster. Ground pound this one as well to dispose of it. Collect yourwell-earned Power Star.Big Bad BugaboomWatch out as now there's Mandibugs everywhere. You can destroy themwith a ground pound. Head over to the right at the start of the level, where the fountain is, and get caught into a bubble shot by the cannonto be launched to a higher platform.
Pick up the Life Mushroom on theleft, then jump down and grab the Bee Mushroom on the lillypad totransform. Climb up the pole, or use the pipe, to go back to the lowerarea. Fly up to the pathway into the rockface (where the littlewaterfall is, the same path from the first level) and talk with the beequeen. Use the Launch Star to reach a small platform with a flower. Useits stem to get a lift up, then hold A to fly over to the nextplatform. Repeat the same and get to the tree where the biggestMandibug yet awaits, for another boss battle.
For the first phase, hewill be running around the tree. You can avoid him by standing on theedge of the platform. Simply fly up and land on his back.
Ground poundit once. For the second phase, the Mandibug will fly around. Use theflower stems to fly up to the tree and grip the honey on its trunk. From there, try to land on the bug's back and ground pound it oncemore. The last phase is the same, but the Mandibug will turn red andwill move faster, in addition to being harder to land on. Simply timeyour landing right and ground pound it for once and for last. Collectthe Power Star.Luigi in the Honeyhive KingdomTo find Luigi in Honeyhive Galaxy, you'll need toclimb up the cliff on the left at the beginning.
There are several waysto do it. Either choose the first level, turn into Bee Mario, and flyup the waterfall up to the tunnel above. From the edge of the tunnel, fly left to reach the area up the cliff.
Or choose the second level andground pound the rock at the beginning to use the Sproutle Vine. It'llget you to the upper area. Climb up to the ledge above. Luigi is up thetree on the right. Fly up to him or shoot a Star Bit at him to make himfall off. He'll give you the Power Star.Loopdeeloop GalaxySurfing 101This level is actually a very basic racing mini-game. Talk to thepenguin to start, who'll explain how it works.
Hold down A to advance, tilt the Wiimote to the left to go left, and tilt the Wiimote to theright to go. To win the Power Star, simply finish therace within 1:30, which is pretty easy to do if you let go of A to slowdown in turns. Itcan be quite hard to get a hang on the controls but really nothingoverly difficult.Flipswitch GalaxyPainting the Planet YellowAnother fairly simple level but this one requires more thinking. Thefloor is made entirely of blue tiles, which turn yellow upon steppingon them. The way you just to go is important, and how you progress fromthe first tile to the last, as they will turn back to blue if you stepa second time on them.
Start by turning the starting flipswitch toyellow, then head down. Go around following the path, then jump on thered moving platform to go over the gap. Step on the tile as you get offthe platform, then continue up and step on all the flipswitches herewhile avoiding the obstacles.
Go for the last side the same way you didbefore, jump on the red platform to avoid being hit by it and step onthe last flipswitch. Once they're all yellow and turn green, go collectyour Power Star.Bowser Jr.' S Robot ReactorMegaleg's MoonBefore getting to the boss itself, run around the first planet and finda cannon. Wait for it to launch a bullet and make sure it sees you andstarts following you around.
Don't let it catch you though, run indirection of one these domes and get behind it before the bulletcrashes into the dome and breaks it. One of them contains a Launch Starwhich will get you to Megaleg.
You'll see how easy this boss actuallyis. Run around a bit and wait for him to drop his foot on the groundnext to you. You'll see arrows on it, pointing up. You know what thismeans, climb up on his leg, avoiding the bullets, and climb up and overthe obstacles until you reach the top of this giant. Make sure one ofthe bullets is following you and jump in direction of the cage in themiddle. The bullet should crush it down upon collision. Once that'sdone, a new fence will appear around the cage.
Get another bullet tocrash into it to break a piece of it. Just run around the cannons toget bullets to follow you. Either smash down all the pieces of thefence, or try to get the bullet to follow you through the hole in thefence and jump above the cage to have the bullet break it and free theGrand Star. The Fountain is now available with more new galaxies.
FountainSpace Junk GalaxyPull Star PathAim at the Pull Star to grab onto it, then give a push with the Wiimotein direction of the cylinder to land on it. Use the Pull Stars on theother side to cross and repeat the same process to land on the sphere.Jump from sphere to sphere to collect the five Star Chips and repairthe Launch Star. Use it to reach a rocket. Go to the tip of it and thecamera view will change, allowing you to see more Pull Stars inspheres. Aim to them and then release to land on the spheres. Use thefollowing Pull Stars and navigate your way through the meteors to reacha structure with many enemies. Climb around it to get to the top andbreak all the crystals with the spin attack to free all the Toads.
Thenjump on the Starshroom and head to the top to use the Sling Star. Forthe next part, you'll need to collect all five pieces of the Power Starto put it back together. Just walk forward and the path will appear asyou advance. Try all the different paths to pick up all the pieces andhead back to the platform once you've got 'em all to collect your PowerStar.Kamella's Airship AttackJump on the Starshrooms to reach the Launch Star and use it to fly overto the first ship.
Flip the switch by spinning into it and the bridgeahead will fall down. Following the bunny's advice across the bridge, jump to the left and then spin while in the air to land farther andcollect the Extra Life. Go back right and get on top of the higherstone with a wooden crate.
Jump and spin to reach the Launch Star andland on the second ship. If you're wondering how to reach the? Blockabove, perform a Z+A high jump, then spin to hit it. To open thetreasure chests on the deck, pick up a turtle shell and spin next tothe chests to open them. Climb up the stairs with a shell, avoidKamikoopa's attacks and break open the chest behind her. Use the LaunchStar inside to get to the third ship.
Jump down and free the two Toadsfrom the crystals to get hints. Jump on the Koopas in the middle tomake them get inside their shell, then jump on the shell a second timeto pick it up. The right chest contains a Life Mushroom, and the secondone a red shell. The red shell will act as a missile when you spin nextto it and will hit the first Octopus.

For the remaining Octopus, justuse a regular green shell from the Koopas and aim at it to get it. Thebridge will come down after you defeat both. Use the Launch Star insidethe last ship to get to the boss. Kamella will shoot fireballs at you,and shells that'll spin around on the ground.
Jump on the shells topick them up while avoiding the shots, then spin while facing Kamellato throw the shell at her. Do this a second time and two Kamikoopaswill join her. Things will become more chaotic as you try to avoid theblows, but the process is the same.
You can defeat the two Kamikoopasfirst if you prefer, then Kamella, or just aim for Kamella right away. The final blow will fetch you the Power Star.Tarantox's Tangled WebFrom the second Starshroom, use the Pull Star to get on the cylinder, then the other Pull Stars on the other side to reach a planet made ofglass, or ice. Look around it to find a hole leading beneath (I knowthere's a Luma asking!for Star Bits, but that's for another Star, ignore him for now).
Once underneath, look around to find a LaunchStar. Use it to break through the glass/ice and get launched to a pathwith a couple of spiders. At the end of the path, a Toad stuck in aweird plant will ask will help. Grab the plant with the Wiimote andpull.
Then release to let it go. Now jump yourself on the plant andpull in the direction you want to go to get hurled there. Aim for thenext plant, then aim for the rocket. Smash down the crystal on therocket to get a Life Mushroom, then head for the tip of the rocket anduse the sticky plant again to get to a block with some spiders andanother weird plant. Now aim for the big planet ahead to break it openand reveal a giant spider web. And a giant cocoon. Free the Toad onthe right first, then grab the little ball of cobweb and pull ittowards the cocoon to break it open and reveal Tarantox.
To defeat thisboss, all you need to do is to get behind it and pull the sticky ballright in its back. You don't need to do that with the green dots on thesides of its body, it only stops the poison Tarantox is spitting. Youcan also shoot in its face when it's about to spit to stop its movementso you can get to its back. Otherwise, just shoot it in the back (orbutt, depending how you see it).
Once you do this, Tarantox will get onits back and reveal its stomach. Shoot yourself into the three reddots. The boss will then get back on its feet and the process willstart over, but it'll be spitting more poison. Just repeat the samething over again (shoot the back, then the three red dots) to defeatthis boss. The Power Star will then appear in the center, shootyourself right into it using the web.(secretstar)Yoshi's Unexpected AppearanceAfter you complete the third level, re-enter it to gain asecond Star.Remember the hungry Luma? Make your way over to the glass/ice planetand feed it 50 Star Bits.
If you need Star Bits, go inside the planetby the hole and look around the grass, break some crystals and spin inthe middle of stones to get enough Star Bits. The luma will turn into aLaunch Star after you feed it.
Use that Launch Star to reach a planetshaped like Yoshi's head. Defeat every single Goomba on this planet tomake the Power Star appear. It's easier here to jump on their heads todefeat them than to use the Spin.BattlerockGalaxyBattlerock BarrageStart by collecting all five Star Chips around the metal platforms tomake Pull Stars appear. You can walk all around the platforms, so alsolook under them to find the Star Chips. Grab the second Pull Star toget into the Launch Star and land on another metal platform. Jump onthe little purple spring to bounce up to another platform above.
Get ontop of the blue bolt and spin to activate the platform. You'll now haveto avoid many obstacles as the platform move over to the right. Simplywalk around the platform depending on the obstacles. If a barrierblocks the top, head over to the underside of the platform to avoid it.If barriers blocks the top and bottom, stand on the side of theplatform to avoid them.
You'll then reach the Power Star held inside acage. Jump on the platform to the right to spot some bullets and morecages. Have the bullets follow you around to break the cages and do thesame with the cage holding the Power Star.Breaking into the BattlerockPick up a bomb at the start and spin to throw it at the cage holdingthe Launch Star to blow it open. Use it to reach the next part. There'sa hungry Luma asking for Star Bits, here but keep that for later.
Pickup a bomb from the tip of the green sphere and throw it at the cageholding the Luma at the tip of the red sphere. Talk to him afterfreeing him to make a Sling Star appear. Use it to reach the LaunchStar above and get to a metal platform.
Break the wooden crateunderneath to nab an Extra Life, then use the Pull Stars and naviguateyour way through the mines. Try to grab the Life Mushroom in themiddle, then head for the Launch Star in the top-right corner. It willsend you inside a rocket. Head down the pipe on the side to end up inanothe room with a cage in the center. Spin attack one of the walkingbombs around the room to stop it and pick it up.
Throw it at the cageto blow it and use the cannon to smash the crystal floating above. After two hits, a Launch Star will be revealed. Get back inside thecannon to reach the Launch Star and use it to reach the next area. Here, pick up a bomb and make your way to the tip to throw it at thecage. Just watch out for the electric fields moving around. Jump intothe hole to get inside the cannon and aim for the Power Star in themiddle of all the moving platforms.(secretstar)Battlerock's Garbage DumpRe-enter the second level to gain a second Star. You'll need 30 Star Bits to get the second Star in the level, so pickthem up at the beginning before going any further. There are someunderneath the first metal platform and also the third one, and therest inside cages that you can blow up with bombs.
Once you have 30 ormore Star Bits, blow open the cage with the Launch Star and use it toreach the next area. If you didn't get enough Star Bits at thebeginning, you can always pick up a bomb on the tip of the green sphereand use it to blow up the cage contianing the rainbow star. Once youturn invincible, destroy all enemies to get more than enough Star Bits. Now feed the hungry Luma 30 Star Bits and a new platnet will appear.Use the Launch Star to get to it and you'll get the task of getting ridof all the garbage. You only have a few seconds to do it, so just makesure to throw the boms in a way that you can blow up several pieces ofjunk at the same time.
If you can blow up three or more with the samebomb by aiming for the yellow spots on the ground, you're sure to makeit. You'll be rewarded with a Power Star.Topmaniac and the TopmanTribeIgnore the moles and use the Pull Stars on the last platform to reachanother one. Get in the Sling Star above the robot enemy to get to yetanother platform that will bring you to a Launch Star. In th next area, jump on the moving pillar to find a Life Mushroom. Then to free theLuma held prisoner in the center, spin next to the spinning top to sendit spinning into the cage.
Once the Luma is free, use the Launch Starto get to the next part. Break the wooden crates here to reveal a pipe.Go down that pipe to end up in a room with a big arrow. Stand next toit and spin to reverse it. The gravity will also reverse.
Make your wayto the right to find another arrow at the end of the path. Spin it toreverse gravity and find yourself on the ceiling. Make your way to theleft, then go up and right. Go down the pipe to end up in a new room.Simply jump on the purple enemy in the center to bounce up to a SlingStar and use it to reach the next room. Spin next to the spinning topshere towards the electric field to deactivate it. Do it twice to clearthe way, then use the Launch Star to reach yet another area.
Get to thetop of the area and climb up the structure (If you need an 1 Up or LifeMushroom, talk to the blue Luma behind who will sell you one for 30Star Bits). To defeat the boss here, which is yet another spinning top, simply jump on it once to have it retract the spikes, then spin next toit to send it towards the electric field surrounding the area. Spin asmany times as needed to throw it off. It'll get electrocuted if doneright.
Do this three times to earn the Power Star.Luigi Under the SaucerTo find Luigi, re-enter the first level of Battlerock Galaxy and headover all the way to the Power Star like you would do in a normal run.According to the picture, Luigi should be there, but he's nowhere to befound. Have you tried looking under the platform? He's right there.
Getunder the second platform on the right and stand on the edge so amissile spots you. Have it follow you to Luigi and break the cage.Luigi will hand over the Green Power Star.Rolling Green GalaxyRolling in the CloudsFor this level, which will probably remind you of Monkey Ball, hold theWiimote upwards and tilt it up, left or right to move around. You canalso jump with A. Not much I can do to help here either, just go slowlyaround the paths and make it to the end without falling. The only trickis to be careful when you take a narrow path. When you reach the end,go into the hole to make the Power Star appear and climb up the flag tocollect it!Hurry-Scurry GalaxyShrinking SatelliteThis is more easy than it seems. Walk over to the platform with theToad, stepping on the green tiles on the way.
They'll shrink anddisappear, so be quick. Stand on the tile on the left where the? Blockis and wait until the tile disappears. You'll fall down into a LaunchStar right below and be brought to a large round block made entirely oftiles.
Follow the path of colored musical notes and collect them all tomake the Power Star appear. Just make sure you follow the path in aconsistent order in a way that you can still get all the remainingmusical notes. When that's done, find a clear path of tiles to headback to the top and jump down to grab the Power Star as you fall.Bowser'sStar ReactorThe Fiery StrongholdBefore getting to the actual boss, follow the path, going throughsimplistic obstacles, until Bowser shows up.
Now hurry as the floorwill fall down. Make sure to pick up the Life Mushroom on the way andhead up to the top of the tower. The fight with Bowser can be hard tofigure out, but isn't very difficult. Bowser will leap across the areaand create shockwaves upon landing. Avoir these with a simple jump, andgo standon a blue pad after Bowser jumps up.
When he's about to land, get outof the way and Bowser should land onto the blue pad and burn his tail. He'll then start running around the area. Catch him by waiting for himin the opposite direction or wait for him to stop. Bring back the shellto the big penguin to receive the Power Star. The Secret Undersea CavernHead down in the water and pick up the green shell at the bottom. Spin while holdingthe shell to break it open. Use the Launch Star inside to get to a newarea. Here, spot the? Coin in the air and make note of it.

Pick upthe ice flower that just appeared nearby to turn into Ice Mario. Youcan now walk on water. Head over to the two parallel waterfalls andwall jump between them to reach the platform above. Do the same withthe other waterfalls until you reach the very top (use a high jump anda spin to reach the Sling Star). Be quick as your power will wear offafter a while. Now for the next part, get the ice flower to transformback, and get to the duck enemy on the platform nearby.
Have it followyou as you walk over the water and turn it into ice, creating a pathfor the duck to follow you. Head over to the small platform and let theduck launch you up to the Power Star above.GhostlyGalaxyLuigi and the Haunted MansionUse the Launch Star at the beginning of the level, then head onwards tothe haunted mansion.
Flip the switch next to the door inside byspinning; this will light up the room. Get the two Boos inside the roomto follow you to the light, and while facing from the back, have themstep into the light to dispose of them. This will fetch you a key thatopens the door upstairs. In the next room, walk on the walls andceiling to collect all five Star Chips. Use the Launch Star that willappear once you collect them all to reach a new area around themansion.

Inside, go to the end of the hallway and get the?
Coin totransform into a Boo. Press A repetitively to fly up to the ceiling andgrab the other? Coin to make an Extra Life come out of the paintingbelow. Shake the Wiimote to turn transparent and go through the bars onthe left.
In the next room, fly up with A, then turn transparent and gothrough the bars where the light is. Get caught in the light on theother side to transform back, then use the spring to jump over the walland speak with Luigi to receive the Power Star.A Very Spooky SprintHead over to the mansion using the Launch Star and Pull Stars, then usethe other Launch Star at the end to reach a planet with a Boo waitingfor you. Talk to him to start the race.
This race is a tad unusual, asyou'll be using Pull Stars to move forward. As soon as the Pull Starslight up, aim for the farthest one. Do it a few times over so you canchoose the best paths that save you time. Try not to get caught in theobstacles, you can do this by letting go of the A button after you pulltowards a star, wait a bit before pulling towards the next star, thatway you can choose a better direction and maybe even pull a star thatis further ahead. There's also a neat shortcut halfway through therace, look on the right to spot a Sling Star and pull yourself to it.Use it to save a chunk of the course. At the end, don't forget to shakethe Wiimote to break out of the Pull Star and fall back down on theplatnet. Race to the top to cross the finish line.
The Boo will awardyou a Power Star for your performance.(secretstar)Matter Splatter MansionRe-enter the second level to find a hidden star. Take the Launch Starat the very beginning to get to the area right before the mansion. ThePull Stars take you to the race, but don't use them. Stay on theplatform with all the bats and pumpkin Goombas.
Head over to the rightside to spot a shining rock. Spin to smash it and reveal a Launch Star.Use it to reach a new area. Here, the floor will move as soon as youstep on it. Make you to move at the same time so you can keep up withit. Once you get to the locked door, stay on the floor a bit longer asit will move up, then down so you can pick up the key.
Go through thedoor, then follow the floor just like previously. The path will be abit more complicated, and you ought to keep an eye out for Boos, butotherwise it's nothing hard. Once you reach the room with two lockeddoors, pick up the key, then the? Coin inside the door. Follow theStar Bits path to the left as the wall will move. Follow it up and openthe doors when you can.
Head over to the right for some wall jumping, then once at the top, open the door to find the Power Star in one ofthem.Beware of BouldergeistHead over to the haunted mansion as always, then once inside, get closeto the portrait with a black Boo on the back wall to get the Bomb Booto follow you. Have it follow you to the chimney on the left and spinto make it blow up the statue blocking the entrance. Use the LaunchStar behind to reach a new area. Get to the first sticky plant abovethe moving platform.
To reach it, do a jump followed by a spin. Aim toland on the platform on the right, then use the other sticky plants toreach the Sling Star in the middle, which'll send you right into aLaunch Star. In the next area, use the sticky plants once again to movein-between each and collect all five Star Chips. Pull Stars will thenappear on the left. Use the sticky plants to get close to them and pullyourself to the Launch Star.
You'll reach a balloon with an Extra Life.Bounce towards the Launch Star, then spin to reach it. It'll send youto the last area, where you'll face Bouldergeist.
Buy whatever you needfrom the Luma, then head over to the arena. This boss has two phases. In the first, he'll stand in the middle and perform some easy to avoidatacks. Every once in a while, Bomb Boos will appear around the area.Spin to grab them (two at a time is possible), then get close toBouldergeist with the Bomb Boos spinning around you and get closeenough so the Bomb Boos crash into the boss as they spin around. Afterthree hits, Bouldergeist's rockface will be gone and his uvula will berevealed. Grab another Bomb Boo and get a hit to send him flying. It'snot over yet though. Bouldergeist will reappear with now a pair ofhands.
The process is the same, get three hits on the boss, then onefinal hit on his uvula. Learn his pattern of attacks, and always getthe two Bomb Bombs together before spinning. That way if you hit a handby accident, you'll have one Boo remaining to hit the boss. Also, ifyou get lucky, Bouldergeist will sometimes drop a coin from theboulders. You'll be awarded the Power Star for defeating him.BubbleBreeze GalaxyThrough the Poison SwampHead over to the right to find a bubble. That's what you're going touse to travel through the poison swamp. Get inside the bubble press Ato go in the direction you point with the Wiimote.
The trick to avoidobtscales is to just press A go forward bit by bit, changing thedirection along the way. Don't just hold down A or you'll run into allthe obstacles. In the first part of the level, go around and collectall five Star Chips. Once that's done, head back to the center and usethe Launch Star to get to the second area.
Make your way through theobstacles just as previously until you reach a patch of land with ablue switch. Press Z to get off the bubble and press the switch. Getback inside a bubble and go through the gate before it closes. Nowsimply follow the path leading to the Power Star.Buoy Base GalaxyThe Floating FortressSwim down underneath the tower and look for a glass ball hanging fromit.Have one of the missiles nearby follow you to it and have it ram intothe ball to break it. The tower will surface.
Head back up and startclimbing the tower. Wall jump between the walls on the left, then dothe same with the next walls, watching out for the block sticking out.Head past the blocks and other obstacles, then talk to the robot. Goleft and spin the green valve to turn off the water shooters. Then do ahigh jump next to the robot to reach the ledge above (or use the springenemy) and spin the blue bolt. Jump on the ledge above and startcollecting the blue Star Chips around the top of the tower. There isone right there on the moving platforms, one on a platform a bitfurther up if you climb, one on top of the grey enemy blocks, one onthe platform with a Goomba around the top, and the final one is at thevery top of the tower, if you jump on the spring enemy.
Then use thePull Stars above it to reach the big ball above. Climb to the top andspin the yellow bolt shooting the red rays to open it. Swim down andcollect the Power Star.(secretstar)The Secret of Buoy BaseTo get this secret star, swim down to the bottom of the dome and findthe green pipe held inside a cage. Get a missile from nearby follow youto it and have it ram into the cage and blow it open.
Go down the pipeto find yourself at the top of the tower. Run over to the left toescape the bullets. Make sure one follows you as you get close to thecenter of the tower's top. Get it to the middle and make it ram intothe cage to free the Green Power Star.BowserJr.' S Airship ArmadaSinking the AirshipsThe first part of the level consists in getting to Bowser Jr's airship, which shouldn't prove too difficult. Head to the tip of teh ships, getin the cannon, aim for the next ship, rinse, repeat.
On one of theships you'll need to flip a switch to activate a moving platform thatwill take you to the last ship. Get in the Sling Star to get aboard.Bowser Jr. Will then show up. This boss isn't very hard because youhave a lot of health at your disposal. There are two coins on theplatform behind you, and on the deck at the right, a cage with an ExtraLife and two more coins (that you can break with the bullets). There'salso a coin on the mate if you shoot a Star Bit on the yellow dot.
Thefight will remind you of a previous fight, so you know the drill. Jumpon a Koopa, pick up the shell, throw it at Bowser Jr.' Shoot itthree times to enter phase two. This time you'll have more bulletsafter you, as well as cannonballs.
And a Kamikoopa. Start by takingdown the Kamikoopa with a shell, then avoid the bullets and shoot ashell at the ship. Repeat two more times to win and receive the GrandStar. BedroomGustyGarden GalaxyBunnies in the WindTo move between the islands on this planet, you'll need to use theFloaty Fluffs.
Stand in the middle of a flower patch and spin to makethe flowers float up. Jump to grab into one of them and spin when intoa wind gust to get a little boost. When you reach the next island, press A to get off the flower. You can only spin three times whenholding on to a Floaty Fluff so be careful to use the spins wisely, though it's not a problem in this first level. Move to the secondisland, then either use the next Floaty Fluffs or the Sproutle Vineunderneath the planet. Either path will lead to the same destination.Move from planetoid to planetoid (defeat Piranha Plants to get SproutleVines) until you reach one with a purple Piranha Plant. Run around itand wait until it crushes its head into the ground.
Avoid it, then spininto it. When you see it's dizzy, jump on the head to defeat it.
Usethe Launch Star to reach the last area. Talk to the bunny here and getready to run after it. Don't loose sight of him or it might be hard tofind him afterwards (he will wait for you at the fountain if you loosehim). Use Long Jumps (Z+A while running) to have a better chance ofcatching him. You'll get the Power Star after catching the bunny. The Dirty Tricks of MajorBurrowsJust as in the first level, start by using the Floaty Fluffs to reachthe second island.
From there, reaching the next will be a bit harder.Just make sure you spin at right intervals and that the Floaty Fluff iscaught in the wind gust above. Once on the round planet, defeat themole by doing a ground pound (A+Z) next to it, or on the trail behindit, then spinning into it once it's out of the ground. Take the LaunchStar that appears right after to reach the?-shaped planet. Here, defeat the three moles around the planet just like you did. Once that'sdone, use the new Launch Star be launched into a giant apple.
Stomp thestump on the apple with a ground pound to make a worm come out. Followit to the next apple and stomp the stump here too. Repeat the processon the apple. One of the stumps will make the worm come out again.
Getto the tip of it and use the Launch Star. Stomp the first stump on thenext planetoid to make a Life Mushroom appear. Grab it, then get intothe last Launch Star. Time for another boss battle. To defeat MajorBurrows, run around and wait for him to jump out of the ground. Now doa ground pound to get him completely out and then spin attack him. Hewill get mad and start chasing you around.
Do the same thing, avoid himuntil he gets out of the ground, then do a ground pound and he'll walkaround. Catch him up and spin. He'll get even more mad. This time, you'll need to ground pound the ground two times before Major Burrowsgets dizzy and start walking out of the ground. It's easy to do if youstay at a good distance when ground pouding. Spin attack him a lasttime to get rid of him and collect your Power Star.Gusty Garden's GravityScrambleStart as usual using the Floaty Fluff to fly over to the next isle. This time you'll need to stay in the win gust a bit longer but as longas you only spin when you get close enough to a? Coin, you should befine.
Even if you feel as if you won't reach the isle, the gravitymight bring you to it if you're not too far. Defeat the Piranha Planthere to make a Sproutle Vine appear, then do the same with the next andspin on it to reach the top and jump into the Launch Star. Spin to getto the next planet. Walk between the spiky plants and avoid theboulders until you reach the other side. Use the Launch Star to get tothe next area. Here you'll need to find five Star Chips.
The first oneis right underneath the first platform you start on. Then climb up thepole and jump + spin to reach the next platform on the right. Get thesecond Star Chip here, then climb down the pole under it and jump tothe left to grab the third Star Chip.
Don't worry about gravity here, you'll fall back on the platform after grabbing it. Get to the thirdplatform and climb down the pole. Jump left to collect the fourth StarChip. Head back to the last platform (green one) and walk on the sideof it to find the last Star Chip spinning around. Use the newlyappeared Launch Star to get to the next part. Make sure you stay on theyellow side of the blocks here, and hit the arrows to change thegravity.
Move through the obstacles and head down when you get to thedead-end. Use the backwards somersault (Z+A) to jump on the higherblocks and avoid the bullets.
You'll get to the Power Star at the endof this path. Spin to break the crystal and collect the star.(secretstar)The Golden ChompTo get the secret star, re-select the third level. At the verybeginning, use the Floaty Fluff and grab the first? If you wantthe star, you absolutely have to get all?
Grab the two others, using the spin to reach them (you don't need to touch the coins tocollect them, as long as the Floaty Fluff touches it you'll get it).Once you reach the ground, get the remaning? Coins and a Rainbow Starwill appear. Head up the Sproutle Vine and grab it to turn invincible.Use the Launch Star to get to the planet with the spiky plants andmoving boulders. Ram into all these obstacles.
On the other side, you'll find a golden chomp. Crush it down with your invincibility toearn the Power Star.FreezeflameGalaxyThe Frozen Peak of Baron BrrrStart by talking to the penguin on the ice platform at the beginning. He'll dare you to catch up to him.
The only way to do so is by skating. How? Simply spin on ice to start skating. Chase the penguin and catchhim. Now get into the Launch Star to get to the next part. The water isfreezing, so don't stay too long in it. Follow the platforms on theright and avoid the enemies (if you get frozen, shake the wiimote tobreak out) to find a? Grab it and an Ice Flower will appear.
Goget it to transform into Ice Mario. You can now walk over the water, sothat's going to be useful here.
There are two paths you can take, butthe easiest and shortest is reached by wall jumping between the twowalls where the Star Bits are on the left. Get into the Sling Star toreach the upper part already. Follow the platforms on the left and getanother Ice Flower.
Climb up and jump on the blocks. When you reach thewater sprouts above the Sling Star, simply jump on them to freeze themand create platforms. They'll get you to the boss, Baron Brrr. Todefeat him, jump on the platforms on the left to get into an alcovewith an Ice Flower right below the boss. Now that you're Ice Mario, walk on the water to the front. Wall jump up to the Baron and wait forhim to raise himself and fall back down.
Jump as soon as he lands toavoid the shockwave. Now spin attack him once to get him smaller, andspin attack him a second time when he's small.
Repeat this very sameprocess two more times to defeat him and receive the Power Star.(secretstar)Conquering the SummitTo get the secret star, re-enter the first level and get to the snowmountain. Take the Ice Flower to walk on the water and climb up thepath ahead, using the two first water sprouts to climb higher. You'llsee two more water sprouts on.
